SEPTEMBER 2016 PLAY BY SEPHORA BOX.

PLAY! BY SEPHORA is a monthly beauty/makeup subscription box that is $10.00 a month. Each month you will get a PLAY! Book that has tips and tricks inside, a PLAY! Pass that you can take to your Sephora store so you can get advice on how to use the products int that month's box and in the box you will also receive six samples.

Every month they have a different design on the bag.

Everything inside the bag.

ATELIER COLOGNE Sud Magnolia. I mentioned this in my past reviews but I am not a big perfume person but I did enjoy the scent of this one. This subscription does always come with a perfume sample inside.

SEPHORA COLLECTION Rouge Shine Lipstick in Love Spell. Such a cute name Love Spell. I like that they included something from the sephora collection in the bag. This is such a pretty pink color. Its not a very strong color which I also like and I'm sure many people will use such a color.

LIVING PROOF Perfect Hair Day Night Cap Overnight Perfector. I haven't had a chance to try this out yet but on the information card it says that you can get a full week of softness and shine with this long lasting, weightless perfecting solution that keeps your hair looking its best.

ANASTASIA Beverly Hills Brow Gel. This is a clear brow gel. This gel keeps your brows in place the whole day.

KAT VON D Tattoo Liner in Trooper. Again this is a product that I have not tried out yet, but I have heard many great reviews on it. This is a waterproof brush-tip liquid liner that glides on.

OLE HENRIKSEN Sheer Transformation. This moisturizer is very silky and feels great on my skin. It is also oil-free which is good for my skin.

Overall: I thought this had a nice mixture of products. I wouldn't mind if they stopped sending perfume samples and replace them with something else but I did enjoy this box.

September 2016 SnackSack

This is the September Snacksack.

All the goodies in the box.

TASTY BRAND Vanilla Cookies. These were pretty good. They had a nice crunch to them also.

LUNA Chocolate Peanut Butter Mini Bar. They included 3 of these mini bars in the box. When I saw these in the box I thought yum chocolate and peanut butter but honestly I thought they were just ok, I still have one more to eat. Its nice though that these bars have a lot of protein in them.

SKOUT Almond Blueberry Trail Bar. This bar on the other hand was a lot better. I enjoyed the blueberry flavor in this one.

HIPPEAS Chickpea Puffs. I enjoyed these a lot. They are organic and also vegan. I would love to try out different flavors of these.

MRS. THINSTER'S Chocolate Chip Cookie Thins. I've had these before and was happy to see them in the box. These are super tasty.

FRU-LICIOUS Fruit Ice Pops. I've tried this brand before from a subscription box (I'm not sure if it was a different snack sack or it was just a different subscription). They are tasty and great for a nice hot sunny day.

CRUNCHY ROB'S BRAND Pineapple Habanero Popcorn. This was another great snack. At first I really didn't want to try them because I thought they were going to be very spicy because of the habanero but they had the right amount of heat in them. The pineapple flavor was very good.

KATE'S REAL FOOD Grizzly Bites. These were super tasty. I loved the flavors of peanut butter and dark chocolate together.

VINTAGE ITALIA Veggie Pasta Chips. Again I wasn't so sure about these at first but they were really good. If I saw these in the store I would pick them up.

EVERLY Peach Mango Drink Mix. I haven't tried these out yet. But I'm sure the peach/mango combination would make my water very flavorful and good.

BISCOTTEA Teatime Shortbread. These were super yummy. I would have liked to receive 3 packets of these in the box instead of the luna mini bars.

Overall: The value wasn't really there but I was able to try out brands that I probably wouldn't try if it wasn't for the box. So I guess it was an ok box for me.

September 2016 Glossy Box

I know this is a little late but I would like to show you guys what came in the September Glossy Box.

This was the picture on the box.

How pretty is the inside of the lid.

All the items in the box.

KORRES MODERN GREEK APOTHECARY Twist Lipstick. Korres modern greek apothecary replaces synthetics with natural ingredients that are actually beneficial to the skin. This lipstick has a little shine to it which is nice. The color is also very pretty.

VINCE CAMUTO Capri Eau De Parfum.  I'm not a huge perfume person but this does has a nice scent to it. On the information card it says, A floral bouquet of peach blossom and violet notes combine with a citrus blend.

SESDERMA C-Vit Moisturizing Serum. Unfortunately I was not able to try this out because my bottle came basically empty as you can see from the picture below.

MODELLPUNCHER Brow Duo Pencil. I found that this pencil was very hard to notice any color at all. I don't think this was the best product in the box.

SALLY HERSHBERGER 24K Supreme Stylist Dry Shampoo. I know a lot of people don't enjoy getting dry shampoo's in the boxes but I don't mind at all. I always end up using them and its nice to try out new ones every now and then. This one was pretty good. It also gave my hair nice volume.

SESDERMA Sensyses Cleanser. This cleanser worked just like its supposed to work. It also had a nice scent to it.

Overall: This was not a great box for me. One item came almost empty and the brow pencil didn't really give much color. The other items were great but I would have loved to try out the serum. I don't think I will continue to get this box.
