JUNE 2016 SNACKSACK REVIEW

Snacksack is a monthly subscription box that sends out better for you snacks every month. The boxes will include a mixture of organic or all-natural, non-GMO, vegan, fair-trade, or gluten-free snacks. The box is $24.95 per month.

First look inside the box.

Some of the snacks will come inside a sack and the rest just on top of the sack

PARTYTIZERS: Veggie Dippin' Chips. These veggie chips had kale, carrot & spinach. If you want to you can dip these in some kind of salsa or something but I just ate them plain. I thought they were pretty tasty.

COSMOS CREATIONS: Sea Salt Puffed Corn. These were like a small cheese puff, but instead of them tasting like cheese they tasted like a butter puff. I also thought these were pretty tasty. I would buy these again if I found them in a store.

GOT SNACKS: Cinnamon Honey Coconut Chips. I haven't had the chance to try these out yet, but I have tasted coconut chips before and thought they were pretty tasty so I'm sure I will like these.

ROUTE 11: Lightly Salted Potato Chips. These potato chips are kettle cooked so they were a little harder then regular potato chips. The potato chips are wheat & gluten free.

HOMEFREE: Lemon Burst Mini Cookies. These cookies are egg & dairy free, gluten free, peanut free, nut free, and they are whole grain. I haven't had a chance to try these out yet but I think that they look and sound good.

GOURMETNUT: Mega Omega Trail Mix. This trail mix is all natural, gluten free and vegan. The trail mix had walnuts, dried mango, almonds, cranberries and pumpkin seeds. The only thing with this mix is that it had cranberries and I don't really like cranberries.

BLACKFOREST: Fruity Gummy Worms. These are Gluten and Fat Free, Colors from Natural Sources, and no artificial flavors. I'm saving these for a treat for my older daughter.

MOCU: Strawberry Lemonade Pizzazz Mix. This looks interesting. You just have to add this package to a bottle of water.

EARNEST EATS: Almond Trail Bar. This one I didn't love. This bar had Cranberries and again I don't really like cranberries.

MEDITERRA: Pistachio & Honey Bar. This bar was interesting. I don't know if I would even call this a bar or not because it kinda kept falling apart. It was a sesame seed energy bar with pistachios in it. I thought the bar was ok but my husband liked it a lot.

JUSTINS: Maple Almond Butter. I was happy to see this in the box, and I like that they included 2 packages of the almond butter. I currently use this brand of almond butter but I use the vanilla almond butter. I thought the maple flavor was almost the same. I didn't really see a big difference but that didn't bother me.

Overall: This month's snack sack was a good one. I like the variety of snacks that they included in the box.

PLAY! BY SEPHORA JUNE 2016

PLAY! BY SEPHORA is a monthly beauty/makeup subscription box that is $10.00 a month. Each month you will get a PLAY! Book that has tips and tricks inside, a PLAY! Pass that you can take to a Sephora store so you can get advice on how to use the products in that months box and also they will send you six samples.

When you open the box you will find a bag inside with all the products. The bag from last month had a different design on it so I'm not sure if each month the little bags will be different or not.

These are all the products that were inside the bag.

TARTE Tarteguard 30 Sunscreen Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 30. I was very happy to see this product in the bag. I have been wanting to try this sunscreen lotion out for a few months now and I kept forgetting to pick it up each time I went to a sephora store.

BECCA  Backlight Priming Filter.  This was another product that I was happy to see in the bag. This priming filter is supposed to act as a soft-focus filter to blur imperfections and gives your skin an effortless luminous look.

BUMBLE AND BUMBLE Don't Blow It. You are supposed to air-dry your hair and then apply this. This product adds body and enhances fine-to-medium hair textures for a laid-back, air-dried style.

TOCCA BEAUTY Florence. This has a blend of bergamot, violet petals, and blonde wood. I don't usually use perfume so I will probably pass this sample on to somebody else.

BENEFIT COSMETICS They're Real! Mascara. This mascara gives your lashes the volume that they need. I wasn't as excited with this sample as other ones in the box since I feel like I've gotten this mascara in so many subscription boxes.

BAREMINERALS BareSkin Bronzer. This bronzer may be worn alone or over foundation to give your skin a sheer, natural-looking touch of sun. I haven't tried this out yet but it looks interesting.

Overall: I thought this box was pretty good. I was really happy that this box came with a sample of the Tarte sunscreen lotion and also the Bumble And Bumble don't blow it creme. Also for only $10.00 a month you get a good amount of samples to try out.

UPCOMING CHANGES TO BIRCHBOX POINTS

Disclosure: This post contains affiliate links.

So it looks like Birchbox is making some changes to their point system according to the e-mail that they sent out today.

According to the e-mail you will now be able to spend your points in any increment and you won't have to wait until you hit 100 points to shop.

Any points that you earn after July 11, 2016 will expire six months from the date that you earned them.

They are going to offer points now only for your first five sample reviews (YES ONLY THE FIRST FIVE REVIEWS). So its not going to be the first five of every month its just going to be the first five sample reviews you review all together.

I'm not very happy with the new changes that they have made and I have a feeling that a lot of people are feeling the same way. The point system was one of the reasons that I stayed with Birchbox, so I'm not sure if I will continue with them after my subscription ends. I guess we will see.

June 2016 Popsugar Must Have Box.

POPSUGAR Must Have is a monthly lifestyle subscription box for women. Each month they send out products from beauty, fitness, food etc... The cost of the box is $39.95 per month.

Everything in the box.

PACIFICA Underarm Deodorant Wipes. Retail $9.00 These deodorant wipes are supposed to neutralize odors for hours. I guess these will be good for this time of year. They are perfect to just toss in your bag.

KNOCK KNOCK Are You Ready (For Your Close-Up?) Compact. Retail $10.00. Honestly I don't need another compact mirror so I wasn't so happy to see this in the box.

WILD AND WOLF Ridley's Games Room "Who Am I?" Quiz. Retail $12.95. This game is to guess the celebrity, its an easy-to-play game that you can take with you anywhere. I thought this was interesting to get in the box, I never would have guessed that we would get a game in this box.

NCLA Born on the 4th Nail Lacquer. Retail $16.00. This patriotic nail polish was exclusively developed with POPSUGAR. You can use it alone or as the topcoat over another nail polish. I was happy that they had something patriotic in this month's box and didn't wait till next month to add this to that box since we probably wouldn't have received it in time for July 4th if it were to come in next month's box.

SISTERS OF LOS ANGELES "Cheers" Gold Bottle Opener. Retail 12.00. Again I'm pretty sure I don't need another bottle opener, but this one is a really nice size. I mean this thing is huge!!! I don't think I have ever seen a bottle opener this big. Its Gold and says CHEERS on it. I don't need it but it will be used.

HAT ATTACK Neutral Diamonds-Printed Sarong. Retail $58.00.This Sarong is multifunctional. I don't know if I will be using this as a sarong but as a scarf instead. Very cute.

PRESSELS Sriracha. Retail $1.29. Yum these Pressels were yummy. If I saw these in the store I would pick up a bag or 2.

Overall: I wasn't too happy with this box when I saw the spoilers, but when I actually received it I liked pretty much the whole but. I'll use almost everything in the box.

June 2016 Target Men's Beauty Box "Looking Good"

Target beauty boxes are not part of  a subscription box so if you want it you have to purchase it individually when it is released. They come out once a month and you can view everything that will be in the box. They have boxes for both men and women and the price ranges usually from $5.00-$10.00. This time around I only purchased one of the men's boxes for my husband since the women's box I didn't think looked very interesting to me and I don't think I would have used half of the items inside.

The Men's Box was $5.00.

As you guys can see this box came really full.

NAUTICAL Life Cologne. I personally do not really like getting any kind of perfume or cologne sample in subscription boxes but I don't think my husband will mind. On the information card it says a seductive blend of ginger, sage, hinoki wood & marine sea moss pays tribute to the lifelong journey of love.

Got2B Glued Spiking Glue. This gel will hold your hair in place until you shampoo it out.

MARROW No. 142 Men's Shave Gel. This gel is antioxidant-rich lathering gel that creates a hydrating layer between you and your razor for a very close shave. My husband was happy to get this in the box.

AXE White Label Night. This has a blend of grapefruit, lavender, cedarwood and praline fragrances. This smells nice. I could see my husband liking this product.

OLD SPICE Hardest Working Deodorant. A mini deodorant is always good to have on hand just incase you will be going anywhere.

DOVE MEN + CARE Complete Care 2-in-1 Shampoo. This shampoo is infused with caffeine and active conditioners that deep-clean and moisturize your hair. The shampoo has a nice smell to it. Again this is a product that is good to have just incase you will be traveling anywhere.

NIVEA Men Creme. This is a hydrating multipurpose creme that absorbs quickly, isn't greasy, and also has a masculine scent.

SCHICK Hydro Men's Razor. This razor is basically the reason why I decided to get the box for my husband. Razors are expensive and since this box was just $5.00, why not pick it up right? :)

CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser Bar. This bar locks in moisture and has 24-hour hydration for your skin.

REMING TON Beard Boss Beard Oil. So the boxes either came with this beard oil or the Balla Body Powder. This oil is supposed to keep your beard soft and skin hydrated. I don't think my husband will be using this since he doesn't have a beard.

The box also came with a $3.00 off coupon.

Overall: I think this was a great box. Everything is travel size and great for this time of year since I'm sure a lot of people will be traveling during summer. Also for only $5.00, I don't think you could go wrong with this box.

June 2016 Birchbox

Disclosure: This post contains affiliate links.

Birchbox is a monthly subscription box that is $10.00 a month. You will receive 4-5 beauty samples in each box that are tailored to your profile. They also have a point system that lets you earn $5.00 in Birchbox points each month just by reviewing your monthly samples.

Everything in the box.

RAVINES Authentic Cleansing Nectar Hair/Body. I've used this brand before and really like it. I don't love the smell on this one as much as I have liked the other products that I have tried from this brand though.

RAVINES Authentic Moisturizing Balm Face/Hair/Body. This was a bonus item in the box. I love how they included this and the packaging is so cute.

NUXE Reve de Miel Facial Cleansing and Make-Up Removing Gel. This multitasked dissolves dirt, oil, and makeup while soothing and softening skin.

AIR REPAIR Complexion Boosting Moisturizer. This moisturizer is packed with antioxidants and humectants. You can use this as both a mask and a daily moisturizer. I've used this product in the past and I have only used it as a daily moisturizer. I like how my skin feels so soft after I use this product.

THE BEAUTY CROP PBJ Smoothie Stick - Raisin the Roof. This contains sweet almond oil. This went on very smooth and left my lips really moisturizing. I love the design of the blenders on it, its so cute.

LOC One & Done Shadow Stick. This creaseless, waterproof shadow doubles as a long-lasting liner. This is a nice color, but I think I will be giving this to somebody else since I believe I have the same one already.
